FPI represents its members and attends public hearings before the executive, legislative and Judicial branches of the government concerning issues affecting its various manufacturing industry sectors.

Prepares position papers in coordination and consultation with the affected manufacturing industries to make a meaningful presentation before the proper forum with the purpose of leveling the business playing field and maintaining the global competitiveness of the FPI members.

Fight Illicit Trade Activities and all forms of smuggling to protect government revenues in terms of taxes and duties, preserve employment and sustain the capacity utilization of the manufacturing industries. It includes data gathering, joining raids, initiating, filing and prosecuting cases.

Defend local manufacturing industries which are often unjustly blamed for environmental problems and climate change, based on factual and scientific reasoning.

Assist members in their concerns with various government entities.
