Beth Lee is one of the most recognizable faces in the automotive industry. She has over two decades of industry experience and has chalked up a formidable record as Universal Motors Corporation’s (UMC-NISSAN) Chief Operating Officer, serving the company for 12 years; as the youngest and first female president serving the longest term (7 years) as President of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI), and as a leader in an industry known for innovation, technology and global operations- the same industry dominated by men.

Today, she is a social entrepreneur and co-founder of EMotors, Inc., an e-mobility company, makers of ZüM electric vehicles, founded to help poverty alleviation, job creation, and climate change mitigation. EMotors was the chosen Green, Electric Mobility Partner of APEC, and was awarded the Asia CEO Green Company of the Year.

Age 78, Mr. Pangilinan graduated cum laude from the Ateneo de Manila University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He received his MBA degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. In Manila, he worked for Philippine Investment Management Consultants Inc. (PHINMA) in the Philippines, and in Hong Kong with Bancom International Limited and American Express Bank. Thereafter he founded First Pacific in May 1981.

Mr. Pangilinan served as Managing Director of First Pacific since its founding in 1981 until 1999. He was appointed Executive Chairman until June 2003, after which he was named Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer. Mr.Pangilinan holds the positions of President Commissioner of PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk and PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk in Indonesia. In the Philippines, Mr. Pangilinan was once again appointed as President and CEO of PLDT, Inc and Smart Communications, Inc in January 2024. He also became the President and CEO of Manila Electric Company (Meralco) effective June 1, 2023. He is the Chairman, President and CEO of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation; PLDT Communications and Energy Ventures, Inc., Chairman of ePLDT, Global Business Power Corporation (GBP) - wholly owned by MERALCO PowerGen Corporation (MGen), Terra Solar Philippines, Inc. the rank of Bayani. Mr. Pangilinan was awarded the First Honorary Doctorate Degree in Management by the Asian Institute of Management in 2016, Honorary Doctorate in Science by Far Eastern University in 2010, in Humanities by Holy Angel University in 2008, by Xavier University in 2007 and by San Beda College
in 2002 in the Philippines. He was formerly Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ateneo de Manila University and was a member of the Board of Overseers of the Wharton School.

Beth Lee is one of the most recognizable faces in the automotive industry. She has over two decades of industry experience and has chalked up a formidable record as Universal Motors Corporation’s (UMC-NISSAN) Chief Operating Officer, serving the company for 12 years; as the youngest and first female president serving the longest term (7 years) as President of the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines (CAMPI), and as a leader in an industry known for innovation, technology and global operations- the same industry dominated by men.

Today, she is a social entrepreneur and co-founder of EMotors, Inc., an e-mobility company, makers of ZüM electric vehicles, founded to help poverty alleviation, job creation, and climate change mitigation. EMotors was the chosen Green, Electric Mobility Partner of APEC, and was awarded the Asia CEO Green Company of the Year.

Beth is the recipient of several awards to include The Outstanding Women in the Nation’s Service (TOWNS) Awardee given by Former President Gloria Arroyo, BizNewsAsia Green Entrepreneurship Award, Power 100 Most Powerful and Influential Filipinos by BizNewsAsia, Inspiring Women Entrepreneurs by GoNegosyo, Power88 by Philippine Star, Power Platinum Circle by Lifestyle Asia, among others.

Beth is also Co-founder, President and co-host of the business and public affairs television show BizNewsTV on PTV4.

Beth graduated Magna Cum Laude, with a Masters Degree in Business, at the State University in California, USA.

John Reinier H. Dizon

Currently the President of the Cement Manufacturers Association of the Philippines and Republic Cement & Building Materials, Inc., a CRH-Aboitiz company. He has over two decades of experience in the cement industry, having held senior roles at Lafarge Group, including CFO and General Manager in Lafarge Russia, CFO of Lafarge Cement Philippines, and Regional Controller for Asia based in Paris, France. He began his career at SGV & Co. (EY Philippines) as an auditor. Mr. Dizon also serves on the boards of the Federation of Philippine Industries and recently the Government Procurement Policy Board, as Private Sector Representative. A strong advocate of “Buy Local” and sustainable procurement, he actively supports local industry development. He holds a BS in Accountancy from the University of Santo Tomas, and an MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, with executive training from Duke University and INSEAD.

Ernesto M. Ordoñez is the current Sustainable Development Committee chair of the Federation of Philippine Industries. He has held responsible government and private sector positions.

In government, he was Secretary of Presidential Flagship Programs and Undersecretary of Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Agriculture. He was awarded the Presidential Golden Heart Award.

In the private sector, he was President of the Asean Federation of Cement Manufacturers (AFCM) and the Cement Manufacturers Association of the Philippines (CEMAP). CEMAP received the hall of fame award for sustainable development. For overseas experience, he was based at Xerox Corporation in the United States for eight years.

Ordoñez has an AB IN Economics from Ateneo de Manila University, an MA in Management Sciences from Yale University and a PhD in Business Administration from New York University.
